Red Lizard Five Miler – Sunday, March 3, 2013

The 2013 racing season is about to kick into full swing! After testing out some other dates, the Red Lizard Five Miler returns to its original timing – early March. With the Five Miler and Shamrock back packing a one-two punch, the racing season is about to heat up the late winter weather. And with the mild winter we have had so far, I can only imagine there are a lot of people ready to jump in and see where they are at.

So, are you signed up yet? The race is a super cheap $20 ($25 day of race), and for Red Lizard members, you can race it for only $15. To register, head to the race web page.

If you’re looking to be involved in the action without racing, we could use more volunteers. We have a need for several more folks to assist with this event, particularly people to hang out on the course to make sure participants know where to go. One of the things we always prided ourselves on is the fact race veterans, as well as first-timers, feel TRL puts on one of the best organized events around. And we couldn’t do that without the help of our membership. If you feel like volunteering, check out this thread on the message board or email torrey@redlizardrunning.com

So come out and either race or volunteer at the event that has our name all over it – the RED LIZARD Five Miler.
